the kitties

Rachel adopted a wee Atticus Fuzz when she moved into her first solo apartment in Manhattan. Rachel and Vincent added Kingsley "Griswold" Shackleboots to the family while living in Raleigh, North Carolina. Both kitties are hilarious, sweet, smart, naughty, snuggily troublemakers, and we absolutely adore their company. Rachel somehow started calling them "Scrumblers" and describing a certain ornery mood as "scrumbly," which inspired our farm's memorable name.

Gronemeyer, our newest addition, not [yet] pictured, is an older gentleman barn cat who wants to snuggle with anyone he meets and has absolutely decimated the nascent barn rodent population. He sometimes rides on our shoulders while doing chores, and is always available for a quick snuggle in the hay loft when it all becomes too much. Update: He is so darn snuggly that he was allowed in the house, where he has mostly moved in, much to the dismay of Griswold.
