The other Jersey girl at Scrumble Wood Farm
A family milk cow!
Vincent's Dad (and generations beyond) were dairy farmers, and he retains a particular affinity for Jersey cows. These small, beautiful dairy cows are "easy keepers" and produce a generous quantity of rich milk, high in butterfat. We knew we'd end up with a Jersey at some point, and when Rachel saw an advertisement for this calf from Teacup Farm in Barker, New York, we felt she was the one. Although she's also a ruminant, she's special enough for her own page. She was born March 8, 2017, and hopefully by 2019 we'll be getting around 3-5 gallons of milk every day!
